We follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) syllabi for all our subjects.
|
The I.S.T.D. is a Dance Examinations Board recognised by the Qualifications
and Curriculum Authority (QCA). It is an international organisation with it's
headquarters in London. Graded childrens exams through to the
qualifications held by its Teachers are all QCA approved and recognised.

All pupils in Footworks, except those who are too young, have taken exams in tap ballet or
modern, with the majority of them achieving A's. We are very proud of them all.
Most years we hold a school show in November. All pupils are given
the opportunity to perform on stage (with the exception of some 'intake' classes). Our
shows are great fun and enjoyed by children and parents alike.

We offer the opportunity to compete on stage at local Dance Festivals
several times a year. Many of our pupils audition for, and take part in,
pantomimes and other musical and dramatic productions at the
Gordon Craig and other local theatres.

In the beginning, rather than ask you to pay for a whole term's fees, you can pay weekly at
a rate of £4.00 for each half hour class. After a few trial weeks you would then be asked to
pay the remaining term fees and buy uniform, if you have not already done so.
