About Us...

Footworks School of Dance follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) syllabi for all our subjects and our fully qualified teachers attend regular courses to ensure everything taught is fully up to date.

Our main venue is Magpie Crescent, Poplars, Stevenage SG2 9RZ. We hold classes here through the week for the majority of our pupils and on Saturdays for younger children.

The I.S.T.D. is a Dance
Examinations Board
recognised by the Qualifications
and Curriculum Authority (QCA).
It is an international organisation with it's headquarters in London. Graded childrens exams through to the qualifications held by its Teachers are all QCA approved and recognised. www.istd.org.

Taking Exams...
All pupils in Footworks,
except those who are too young,
have taken exams in tap ballet or modern,
with the majority of them achieving A's.
We are very proud of them all.
