Introductory Classes

We take children from 3 years old into a half hour Introductory
Class. This class teaches the importance of listening and
responding to music. Things like making a circle or a straight line,
standing in a space which enables freedom of movement, may
appear to be simple tasks but they are things a young child has
to learn. They learn when it is appropriate to move around the
room and when it is time to stand still and the importance of
listening to the instructions given by the teacher. We are keen for
them to learn the discipline and the fun of dance.
We have a uniform for all classes and we would ask that you do
not purchase uniform before attending so that you do not buy the
wrong thing. Uniform is available through The School at slightly
discounted prices. We do not expect you to order uniform on your
first visit, unless you want to. We are happy for you to wait a
couple of weeks to see how your child settles in.
Similarly, we do not expect you to pay for a whole term unless you
prefer to. (It is cheaper to pay for a term) We are happy for you
to pay for each class for the first couple of weeks. Term Fees for a
half hour class are £36. Weekly rate is £4.
Once you are fully registered, fees are paid termly in advance.
You would be required to give half a term notice if you wish to
relinquish your place in any class, alternatively you would be asked
to pay a half term fee for that class.
