I.S.T.D Classes

Children progress through classes according to ability. Age is taken into
consideration but it is not the main criteria. After an Introductory class,
they go into a 1 hour combination class of Tap, Modern and Ballet.
The fee for this class is £72 per term.
Children from the age of 5 (I.S.T.D. regulation) are allowed to take exams.
These are not compulsory but most children do take them. Striving to
achieve their best in dance is a good foundation to take them through
their school years and the many exams and challenges they will face.
Dance exams can be good fun and a pass is rewarded with a certificate.
The vast majority of our students pass with an A!
When students are in syllabus exams classes, each subject is allocated
a half hour slot, for the younger children, and 45 minutes for the older
students.
Footworks term fees are calculated by adding all classes together to give
the total length of time for each student. The pro-rata half hour rate
reduces as the time increases.
Once you are fully registered, fees are paid termly in advance. You would
be required to give half a term notice if you wish to relinquish your place in
any class, alternatively you would be asked to pay a half term fee for that
class.
