 | Adult Yoga classes with Sophie.
New for the Summer term. Sophie is qualified as a Sun Power Yoga teacher, amodern eclectic mix of yoga that combines Dynamic Hatha, Sivananda and Astanga Yoga. Working on relaxation, strength and flexibility! Everyone is welcome to join, Sophie caters for all abilites in a non competative environment! Classes are Monday mornings at Poplars Scout Headquarters 10-11am, and Wednesday evenings at Aston Village Hall 6-7pm.  | New This Term!!!
Starting this term are Junior and Intermediate/Senior group singing lessons. The lessons are with Miss Claire, on a Monday, at Aston Village Hall. Miss Claire has been performing in London's West End from the age of 5 in shows such as; 'Sound Of Music', 'Les Miserables', 'Oliver!' & 'Mamma Mia'.  | All England Dance Finals
We ended the school year with a trip to London’s West End for the All England Dance Finals. Competition was extremely tough with only the best in the country winning their way there. Taking part from Footworks was:- Elloise Jones who came 2nd, winning a silver medal for her Song and Dance Solo. A fantastic achievement. Jacob Pollock who came 4th with Special Distinction for his Modern Solo. Shadowland cast – Elloise Jones, Charlotte Gladwyn, Taylah Hesketh-White, Abbie Steer, Carina Bays, Christie Bays, Nichola Seymour, Olivia Manning, Juliette Fletcher, Jacob Pollock - who came 4th with Special Distinction in the Intermediate Song and Dance Group section. Also competing amongst the best in the country was Charlotte Gladwyn with her Modern Solo. Sophie Roberts, Elloise Jones, Charlotte Gladwyn – Senior Modern Trio. Jacob Pollock – Song and Dance Solo. Rosa Manning, Elloise Jones - Senior Song and Dance Duet. They all performed brilliantly proving that they deserved their place in the finals. Well done!

Congratulations to all those who performed in the School Show. You were fantastic! If you would like a copy of the DVD you can download an order form by clicking on the link. The DVD will be edited in-house and produced professionally. Although the date fro pre-ordering has passed, there will be a limited number available at the beginning of term on a first come first served basis.  | Britain In Bloom 2007
Footworks performed 'The Ugly Bug Ball' on behalf of Stevenage Borough Council at the launch of Britain In Bloom 2007. The event was held at the Gordon Craig Theatre for Britain In Bloom delegates.The Royal Horticultural Society presented the performers with 'kids seeds' for them to grow their own vegetables!  | 60th Anniversary Celebration of Stevenage
Footworks were delighted to perform at the finale event of the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of Stevenage as a new town.  | Visit From The Mayor
The new Mayor of Stevenage was at the Stevenage Arts Festival on 26th June. He thought we were fantastic and asked to come and present Footworks with a certificate, for Outstanding Performance.  | Summer School 2006
This was a huge success again this year with even more Footworks pupils taking part. The younger class was based on Oliver and the older class on Little Shop of Horrors. The standard of the performance given to the parents at the end was fantastic. All the performers looked like they thoroughly enjoyed it.  | Exam Results
We finished last term with Ballet, Tap and a few Modern exams. The results were fantastic. Every single person taking a Tap exam got an A!!! Everyone passed Ballet and Modern with either an A or B. Congratulations to ELLOISE JONES who got 95 for Grade 4 Tap, this was the top Tap mark and the top mark overall. Others who achieved 90 or over were MEGAN LUSCOMBE 94 Standard 1 Ballet - top Ballet Mark, CHRISTIE BAYS 93 Grade 2 Tap and 91 Standard 2 Ballet, CHARLOTTE GLADWYN 91 Silver Award Tap, BETHANY HUCKLE 90 Grade 2 Tap, Nichola Seymour 90 Grade 2 Tap, SOPHIE ROBERTS 90 Grade 5 Modern - top Modern Mark. Well done to everyone who took exams. Excellent marks!!
