The Footworks show for 2008 is taking place on 22nd and 23rd November. This year we will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Footworks School of Dance and will be revisiting some of the music we have used in previous shows.
The school show gives all pupils the chance to appear on stage and perform for family and friends.
Although this makes for a very hectic term, the pupils love it and it's great for families to see.
The structure of the performances this year is - Stage rehearsal at the venue on Saturday morning. 1st Show on Saturday early evening and the 2nd on Sunday morning. Ticket prices are kept as low as possible. Families are allowed to purchase an unlimited number of tickets on a first come-first served basis. Costumes are supplied by Footworks in return for a small hire charge of approximately £5/£6 per costume.
Themes for previous shows include: - The West End, 'Colours', Around The World, Dance Through The Movies and Disney. Once the theme is chosen, music and costumes are planned accordingly.
