All our classes for your little one are designed specifically for make learning to dance an unforgettable and magical experience. 

All our early years classes have been carefully designed by qualified dance and ballet professionals. Our classes provide the opportunity for young children to learn to dance and develop key life skills in a healthy, sociable, caring and safe environment. Diddy Boppers 

Diddy Boppers is the Footworks introduction to a wonderful journey into dance and creative movement - and the best bit is you get to join in with them! Boys and girls will learn the basic technique for dance and movement to music. The emphasis is on fun and your Diddy Bopper can learn the joy of dance! Its a great place to be to develop a love for dancing and performing. They progress in this class for a term or a year depending on entry age and ability. When they graduate from Diddy Boppers they will receive a certificate as a momento of their first class and move on to our Mini Movers class.

Mini Movers

Mini Movers is Footworks introduction to dancing by themselves. Mini Movers is a great fun dance based class combining the disciplines of ballet with the freedom of modern dance with some shaking, grooving and moving thrown in for fun! They learn the basic ballet steps along with modern dance techniques along with fun action dances and groovy routines. They start to understand rhythm with the use of shakers and different styles and kinds of music. Mini Movers is great for balance, confidence, making new friends and having great fun! 


Pre-School Ballet

Dedicated just to ballet, our Pre-School Ballet class Introduces your little one to the basics of ballet in an imaginative and fun filled class full of dance music and movement, they will love making new friends at Footworks.


Girls and boys will love this creative class combining fun and the first ballet steps starting them on a wonderful journey of dance. Taught by a fully qualified teacher who is a Licenciate in Balletr for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, there is no better way to start their love of ballet.

Musical Theatre 

Bring your budding performer along to our successful Musical Theatre Classes (MTC) so they can enjoy a jam packed class, learning to sing, act and perform. Classes split into dedicated age groups so we can tailor the classes to exactly what your child needs. A great place to make new friends, gain confidence and perform on stage. Regular performances on stage, workshops with West End Professionals. Book your place today.




LAMDA stands for The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and examinations are recognised around the world. Exams are an option but not a requirement for taking the classes (and these are offered once they progress from 'Little LAMDA' to the older version of the class - now its purely for fun to build up to this!). Incorporated into our MTC Mini+ class this is an introduction to the wonderful world of speech and drama. Building confidence, improving speech, projection and interaction. (MTC = Musical Theatre Classes)

Mini Acro

A great fun class for your little budding gymnast! This class is designed to teach your little one basic gymnastics tricks such as cartwheels, rolls, handstands, headstands and much more!  At this level we are teaching your child how to improve strength, flexibility, balance and mobility so they can progress to more advanced moves as they get older and stronger. Our classes are very popular and fill up very quickly so book your place today!
