Performance Opportunities

Every performers dream is to get on that stage and show-off! 
All our pupils, except Diddy Boppers, get to put on a fantastic costume and take part in a show produced to the highest standard, showing their friends and family how much they enjoy it! We hold bi-annual shows at the Gordon Craig Theatre every other year as well as annual Showcase events.

We have represented Stevenage Borough Council many times including 'Britain in Bloom' and the prestigious 60th Anniversary Finalé event. We regularly perform for the Mayor of Stevenage, at the Gordon Craig Theatre, in the Mayor's Concert, held each year, to raise money for charity as well as the Annual Stevenage Dance Extravaganza. We offer lots of opportunities for those who want to perform on stage.



Competition Work

Footworks are honoured to have representing England in the Dance World Cup in 2016, 2017 and 2018 bring home many many medals and trophies.

 

We have a competitive Dance Company where Footworkers compete on stage at festivals throughout the region as part of the All England Dance Competition regionally, and nationally. They enjoy performing and, more often than not, go home with medals and trophies for their achievements. Footworks teachers have won countless awards and trophies for choreography and costume design. Festivals are great fun and are a wonderful way to perform on stage on a regular basis. Lessons are held on different days to our scheduled, syllabus lessons.
