Miss Sophie

Miss Sophie has worked in the dance industry for over 20 years. She trained at The Laban Centre and Middlesex University, gaining a BA (Hons) in Dance Performance, specialising in Contemporary Dance. Sophia went on to work Internationally as a dancer, dance captain and choreographer in a variety of venues and genres, from Commercial to Contemporary. 

Sophie trained as a teacher at The Dance College and Bedfordshire University gaining professional qualifications. Sophie holds Licentiate status in ISTD Modern Theatre, CDE’s in Imperial Ballet, Tap and National Dance alongside a PGCE in Secondary Dance.

Sophie has enjoyed transferring her love for dance in a number of private dance schools, secondary schools, further education colleges and professional vocational training colleges (inc. Stella Mann, The Dance College, Margaret Howard Theatre School). Sophie is also a fully qualified Power/Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher. 

Miss Sophie has worked for Footworks for over 10 years, teaching Imperial Ballet, Modern, Tap, National, Jazz, Contemporary and Musical Theatre, whilst also choreographing festival and show dances. She has successfully coached and entered students in exams from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2 Levels.
