Miss Susan

The founding Principal of the school, Susan started Footworks over twenty years ago along with her daughter Kelly. Having taught for other schools previous to that, she decided to open her own school in Stevenage and Aston Village in 1998. In that time the school has grown in to the successful, thriving, friendly school it is today.

Susan danced and performed from a young age and continued dancing though her adult years. Tap is her passion and she she now teaches major level tap syllabus classes as well as the adult tap classes. She regularly attends courses to make sure she is up to date with all the latest techniques and trends and updates to syllabi. Her tap choreography for the competitive dance Company has won awards at not only at Regional and National level but also competed at the Dance World Cup.

Susan is a Licentiate of the ISTD Examination board and enjoys passing on her knowledge to the pupils at Footworks.
